President Joko Widodo has officiated Setangga Special Economic zone (KEK) through the Government Regulation Number 26 Year 2024 on 13^th June 2024. The KEK with the total land area of 668.3 hectares and located in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan will be developed for the smelter, fractionation, biodiesel and refinery industries. With the realized investment target set at Rp67.69 trillion, Setangga KEK is aimed to boost an inclusive economic growth.
