Friday, 14 June 2024

The Governor of the Central Bank of Indonesia Perry Warjiyo stated that the current exchange rate of Rupiah cannot be observed partially and must be observed as a whole. Compared to its condition in the end of 2023, Rupiah’s current condition is better than Korea, the Philippines, Thailand and Japan with relatively low and stable depreciation. BI also conducted triple intervention in the Domestic Non-Delivery Forward (DNDF), the spot market and the State Bond (SBN) market to maintain Rupiah’s stability.
