In the 2023 XVII REI National Meeting on 9^th to 10^th August 2023, which adopts the theme “Synergy and Harmonization Between REI and the Government for Sustainable Growth in the Real Estate Industry”, President Joko Widodo stated that the contribution from the real estate, property, and construction sector to the economy along 2018-2022 reached Rp2,400 to Rp2,800 trillion or 16% of the national Gross Domestic Product.
