President Joko Widodo inaugurated two bus terminals, namely Amplas Bus Station of Medan and Tanjung Pinggir Bus Station in Pematang Siantar, during his visit to North Sumatra Province on Thursday 9^th February 2023. Both of the terminals are Type A terminals which were developed funded by the national sharia bonds (SBSN). The construction of Amplas Terminals alone cost Rp43 billion.
