The plan for East-West Line Phase 1 Stage 1 which connects Tomang in West Jakarta and Medan Satria in Bekasi with the total length of 24.5 kilometers has been officiated by President Joko Widodo on Tuesday (11^th September). The funding for this project adopts the co-financing scheme with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with the proportion of 49% by the central government through grant and 51% by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta through loan.
