President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) issued Presidential Decree No. 18 of 2020 concerning the National Medium Term Development Plan for 2020-2024. The regulation contains several strategic projects to be completed in the next five years. Some of these projects include the construction of new capital city, the development of 10 priority tourism destinations, oil rig development and TransPapua Merauke-Sorong.
