The Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar, stated that Indonesia’s inflation rate of 5.95% is relatively well maintained compared to other countries due to efforts from the government in maintaining stable prices and people's purchasing power. Data from BPS shows that inflation was recorded at 1.17% month to month in September. The year to date inflation (January-September) of 2022 was recorded at 4.84% while the year to year inflation (September 2021 to September 2022) was recorded at 5.95%.
