Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Toll Road is aimed to be completed in phases in 2020. The project is part of the Trans-Sumatera that will have six sections. Currently, the construction has been started for Section I Tebing Tinggi-Inderapura (20.4 km) and Section IV Serbelawan-Pematang Siantar (28.4 km) with progresses at 18.1% and 5.1%, respectively.
