The government targeted the groundbreaking of Kediri Airport project to start in April 2020 for the first phase. The Rp9.2 trillion project is aimed to be completed in April 2022. The project which is planned to be completed in three phases is the first project to be fully invested by private company with KPBU scheme (Public Private Partnership) between PT Gudang Garam and the East Java Government.
