The Central Bureau of Statistics reported that the Indonesia’s economy in the second quarter of 2020 contracted by 5.3% (YOY) and by 4.9% (qoq). It was the lowest since the first quarter of 1999 when it contracted by 6.13%. Cumulatively, the economic growth in the first semester of 2020 was recorded at 1.26% compared to the same period last year.
