Indonesia to Have Six New Special Economic Zones

The government, through the National Council for Special Economic Zones (KEK), has approved the proposal to establish six new KEKs with the total targeted investment value reaching Rp 1,069.8 trillion to boost investment, domestic economic growth and opening new job creations. Currently, the Government Regulation (PP) relating to this plan is aimed to be completed by the second week of October 2024.
