The Indonesian government aims to realize the total of Rp 78.1 trillion in investment in 2024 and to employ 38.953 workers from Special Economic Zones (KEK). The investment realization from KEKs in the first quarter of 2024 was recorded at Rp31.4 trillion or 40% of the 2024 target. Cumulatively, since 2012 until the first semester of 2024, the realization reached Rp 205.2 trillion and employed 132,227 workers.
