Danantara to Show Real Commitment in Response to Declining Stock Market
Wednesday, 26 March 2025

The decline in the Indonesian stock exchange on Monday, 24th March market has hit some of the market participants. According to the Minister of Coordinating Economy Airlangga Hartarto, the decline reflected the market dynamic due to external pressures. Based on data from the Bank of Indonesia, since the fourth quarter of 2024 until the end of December 2024, more than US$2.4 billion in foreign net outflow was recorded. The market awaits real commitment from Danantara, as a solid agency structure is not enough to resolve short term fluctuation, although it can be the key foundation for medium term to long term market recovery.
