BPS Reports April 2020 Inflation at 0.08%

The Covid-19 pandemic lowers the public consumption which is shown by the data from the Central Bureau of Statistics that recorded April 2020 inflation at 0.08%, far lower than in March when it was recorded at 0.1% and lower than the year to date inflation of 0.8%. The core inflation which supposed to be higher during the fasting and Eid al Ftr period, was recorded a decline to 0.17% from March inflation at 0.9%
