The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported August 2022 with deflation at 0.21% month to month or declining Consumer Price Index (IHK) from 111.80 in July 2022 to 111.57. This deflation is the lowest since September 2019 when it was recorded at 0.275. The 2022 year to date inflation was at 3.63% while the annual inflation was at 4.69%.
