The Central Bank of Indonesia (BI) holds the key interest rate at 4% from 4.25% in the previous month to maintain Rupiah stability with consideration to the deflation trend as one of the economic indicators. BI aims for the inflation rate within 2%-4% ranges. Based on the data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, inflation in July, August and September were at 0.1%, 0.05%, and 0.05%, respectively.
