Monday, 30 May 2022

The Central Bank of Indonesia (BI) has estimated that this year’s inflation will be slightly higher than 4%, in line with the targeted inflation of 3% plus-minus 1%. In its Board of Governor Meeting, BI also decided to set the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI-7DRRR) at 3.50%, the deposit facility rate at 2.75% and the lending facility rate at 4.25% in the effort to maintain the inflation, exchange rate stability and to boost external economic growth amidst Russia-Ukraine political dispute.
