PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) projected Bakauheni Harbour City to be the top tourism destination in Sumatera Island by collaborating with the Provincial Government of Lampung, State Owned Enterprises Ministry, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and Ministry of Public Work and Public Housing on a total land area of 214 hectares. It is also to be the largest coastal tourism destination in Sumatera, comprising Taman Budaya Menara Siger, an inter-transportation terminal, a marina village, a Bakauheni Harbour Park and estuary forests with the facility of star-rated hotels, villas and recreational parks.
