The Central Bank of Indonesia Consumer Confidence Survey in August 2024 indicated higher consumer confidence towards the economy compared to in the previous month. The increase was reflected by higher Consumer Confidence Index (IKK) in August at 124.4, increasing from 123.4 in the previous month with the support of the optimistic Current Economy Index (IKE) and stronger Consumer Expectation Index (IEK).
